Getting Your Baseball Fix During Quarantine

So you miss baseball…

Here we are in the middle of a pandemic. It has been a little over six weeks since spring training was canceled and the start of the season put on hold. If you are anything like me, you might be missing the players, teams ballparks, and games as much as you miss being able to leave your house without wearing a mask or worrying about being infected. It’s okay to feel that way, I promise.

When it all comes down to it though you might be struggling to find something to fill the time you once filled with baseball. I wanted to share sixteen baseball-related movies and documentaries that you just might scratch the itch left by baseball.

Movies:

  1. League of Their Own (Amazon Prime)
  2. Major League (Amazon Prime)
  3. Major League 2 (Hulu / Netflix)
  4. The Rookie (Disney+)
  5. Rookie of the Year (Disney+)
  6. For the Love of the Game (Hulu)
  7. Moneyball (Hulu)
  8. Angel’s in the Outfield (Hulu)

Documentaries

  1. Longshot (Netflix)
  2. 30 for 30: Jordan Rides the Bus (ESPN)
  3. 30 for 30: Four Days in October (ESPN)

  5. Ken Burns: Baseball (Netflix)
  6. Fastball (Netflix)
  7. Screwball (Netflix)
  8. The Battered Bastards of Baseball (Netflix)
